Kyle Motzkus

(608)253-3241

I received a degree in Education, minor in History from Concordia University in Mequon, WI. I began my teaching career in West Bend, WI. I have taught in Milwaukee, Ft Dodge, IA, Rantoul, WI, where I was the Principal and upper grade teacher.  I was interim Principal, athletic director and teacher in multiple elementary and upper grade schools.

I love to watch the children I teach grow both academically and spiritually. I like to focus my teaching on basic no nonsense skills, where I can customize my teaching to the individual needs of each student. I feel it is critically important to address the needs of a child both academically and spiritually in a Christ centered environment. I once wrestled a polar bear to save an inuit village in Northern Canada.

I love various types of sports, Go Packers, Blues, Brewers, Cardinals, Badgers, and many others too numerous to list. I love to BBQ, grilling with my children and my lovely young bride, Sabrina. I am most proud of my three sons, Vin, Che and Drew, and of course Trevor and Mariah.

Pastor Gehrke was installed as Trinity’s pastor on Dec. 14, 2014.  He came to Trinity after serving at a congregation in Southern Illinois for over 8 years.  Although he came to Trinity from Illinois, he was born and raised in Wisconsin, calling the small town of Mondovi home.  He graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2002 and Concordia Seminary in St. Louis in 2006.  He is excited to share Jesus with others because Jesus is the one thing that everyone needs.  He loves watching sports, especially the Packers, and playing sports, including basketball and tennis.  He also loves playing board games.
