School Announcements

March 16, 2020

Parents and Families of Trinity Lutheran School,

Greetings in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ. In this unprecedented time, it is important to remember to keep our focus on the Lord. God is always in control. We would like to share with you our plan to ensure that our students and families have the support they need to continue to be successful in their learning goals and further develop the skills they have worked so hard on all year.

It is in this vein that we have created online classrooms on the school website Each teacher has a file set up (ie: Math with Mr. M, Reading with Ms. Flippo). These materials will be graded and will assist us in keeping the students up to date with the current curriculum standards. It will also help them when we reconvene classes so that they will not fall behind.

Teachers will be contacting families and providing websites for further enrichment opportunities for you and your student. In addition, we would like to ask that you have a set time and quiet location during each day for your student to read to themselves (or to others) for at least 20 minutes per day and practice their math facts 20 minutes per day.

Please know that if you do not have internet access available, we will make these materials available in print form at the office. Please reach out to your student’s teacher to obtain a time to for pick up or for mail delivery.

Ms. Winnes (K4-K) 608-432-1403

Ms. Pieper (1st/2nd)

Ms. Flippo (3rd/4th)

Mr. Motzkus (5th/6th) 920-203-2298

These are unusual circumstances and we are doing our best to meet the needs of our families. If you need assistance with any of the learning materials, please reach out to the teachers or Mr. Motzkus. We appreciate your understanding.

Yours in Christ,

Kyle Motzkus
